Mr and Mrs Barley

Back in the beginning of March, I had the pleasure of photographing Laura and Dan get married at Ullesthorpe Court, Leicestershire. 

So much love and hard work went in to this wedding, Laura spent months making sure every little detail was just perfect and the work paid off, it was a beautiful wedding, full of the most wonderful lovely people you could wish to meet.

We spent the morning in Laura's family home preparing for the big day with her closest family and friends. There were beautiful pastel bridesmaids and elegant lillies everywhere.

After a beautiful ceremony, we headed outside with the guests for photographs. However it began to snow so everyone made their way into the warm. We did manage to sneak out towards the golf course for some sneaky photographs. Even if it was a little dull and chilly, the golf course provided a beautiful back drop for the newly weds. 

 

So many lovely touches!

And what is not to love about the beautiful starlight drapes and dance floor, this was definitely a big hit!

When my Sister in Law got married last weekend, we were invited as guests. I couldn't refrain from taking my camera along for a spin, so here are a few quick snaps that I managed to get throughout the day!

Family Portraits

The lovely Lucas-Brown family contacted me to see if I could take some portraits of their lovely little family. We took photos of the kids happily playing in their living room then headed out to their garden where we played hide and seek and football in between snapping these gorgeous little people!

Fun at Calke Abbey

When the Brown family contacted me with plans of a photo session at Calke Abbey, I nearly bit their hands off! Anyone who knows me in the slightest, knows how much I  L O V E Calke!!

It really is the perfect location for a photo session as it has so many different back drops and things to do. A quiet stroll around the gardens soon turned in to a super fun puppet show in the Garden of Imagination (open during the school summer holidays) and the promise of a cup of tea or a homemade ice cream surely makes it a winner,

Bosworth Country Park

I met the lovely Holmes-Carson family at nearby Bosworth Country Park for a lovely sunny family photography session.

The 1 year old twins were utterly adorable and their big brother was so much fun! He had a little try with my camera and took some cracking photos too.

If you go down to the woods...

 When Daisy's Mummy approached me with fantastical ideas of a photoshoot in the woods with her gorgeous floral teepee, of course I got very excited! We both got a little carried away thinking of things that we could bring to make it amazing and we settled for a teddy bears picnic in some local woodland. It was utter perfection! Little Daisy is such a character and all three of us had such a wonderful time drinking (pretend) tea and eating cupcakes!
